Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival Amritsar & Sightseeing
Welcome to Amarnath Yatra tour! You will be greeted by our representative on arrival. check into the hotel and proceed for a full day city tour with the blessings of Golden Temple-the most important sikh shrine which is also called Mecca for the Sikhs is a living symbol of the spiritual and historical traditions of the Sikhs. Then visit Jallianwala Bagh- where, on April 13, 1919, British and Gurkha soldiers opened fire on an unarmed forbidden gathering, killing hundreds of civilians. Evening visit the Indo-Pak Wagah Border to watch the Flag Retreat Ceremony. Atari (Wagah) an army outpost on Indo-Pak border 30 Kms from Amritsar which is famous for daily evening beating the Retreat ceremony. Soldiers from both countries march in perfect drill, going through the steps of bringing down their respective national flags. As the sun goes down, nationalistic fervor rises and lights are switched on marking the end of the day amidst thunderous applause. Dinner & overnight stay at the hotel.


Day 2: Amritsar – Jammu – Katra (260 Kms road/ 6 kms )
Morning after breakfast transfer to Jammu & Visit Famous Raghunath Temple, later drive to Katra for overnight stay


Day 3: Katra - Vaishno Devi –Katra ( 12 Kms Trek/ 4hrs)
Early morning transfer to Banganga (for trek route) trek starts from here to Mata Vaishno Devi shrine (12 kms), Start to ascend on trek route either by walk or pony/doli (at own cost). Helicopter service is also available for Sanjichhat, so one can take a helicopter to Sanjichhat (at own cost). After Darshan returned back to Katra, overnight at the hotel.
Mata Vaishno Devi temple is one of the holiest Hindu temples dedicated to Shakti ,Indian Spiritual tradition has propounded four Purusharth (objectives) of a human life. These being Dharm (Righteousness), Arth (Material Pursuits), Kaam (Contentment) and Moksh (Enlightenment). Shri Mata Vaishno Devi is believed to grant all the four boons to those who visit Her Holy Shrine. She is considered to fulfill anything and everything that a person wishes for in life, in a righteous way. It is an experience of all, that no one goes empty handed from Her Great Pilgrimage,


Day 4: Katra - Srinagar (250 Kms/ 7 Hrs)
Morning after breakfast transfer to Srinagar, the journey will take you through breath-taking mountains, forests covered with pine trees. visit Awantipura Ruins (an 1100 year old temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu and built by King Awantivarman, on arrival check-in at Hotel, overnight stay at hotel.


Day 5: Srinagar To Sonamarg (85 kms/ 03 hrs)
Morning after breakfast transfer to Sonmarg, Known as the 'Meadow of Gold', Sonmarg is set amidst a valley of flowers and lakes. The word “Son” literally means “Gold” in Hindi, and this golden beauty covered with white snow is most attractive in the spring. The exotic flora of the region is nurtured by the Sindh river. Sonmarg is the gateway to Ladakh & serves as start point for Yatra to Amaranth, The dense forests of Sonmarg comprise of sycamore and alpine flowers, silver birch, fir and pine. The place is frequently visited by nature lovers in the search of tranquil peace and soothing natural beauty. The enchanting beauty of the towering snow clad mountains is a real treat to the eyes. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 6: Sonamarg – Neelgrath- Panjtarni -Amarnath Cave - Sonamarg (6 kms Trek/2 Hrs)
Morning proceeds on a short drive to Neelgrath Helipad, on arrival board helicopter to Panjtarni (Helicopter Services are subject to weather conditions). Helicopter operates till Panjtarni. It is about 6 kms from Panjtarni to the holy cave. You can reach the cave by pony/palki (at your own cost) or by walking. After Darshan returns to Helipad in time to take Helicopter ride to Neelgarth. From Neelgarth drive back to Sonmarg, Overnight in Sonmarg. In case of late, you can stay in Panchtarni at own cost (tented accommodation available)


Note :- Helicopter ticket booking may be for same day or next day return depending on Seats availability.
Day 7: Sonamarg -Srinagar (85 kms/ 03 hrs)
Morning free for leisure, later drive back to Srinagar to visit Kheer Bhawani Temple, Sarada Temple, Mughal Gardens, Nishat Bagh, Dinner & overnight stay at hotel.


Day 8: Srinagar –Gulmarg -Srinagar (52 kms/2 hrs)
After breakfast drive to Gulmarg, also known as the 'Meadow of Flowers'. Enjoying a fun-filled pony ride and gondola rides (on direct payment), Gulmarg is primarily famous for its golf course with 18 holes and has one of the best ski slopes in the world, later driven back to Srinagar. Dinner & overnight stay at Srinagar.

Day 9: Srinagar – Amritsar (420 kms/10 hrs)
Today a bid farewell to Baba Barfani Tour, after a breakfast drive to Jammu/Amritsar, here the tour ends with happy memories to be cherished forever.
Note :-There is the option of ending a tour or departing from Srinagar Airport, Jammu Airport and Railway Station, or Amritsar Airport and Railway Station. As per their preferences.

- If due to any reasons beyond our control like landslide, traffic jams, flood, riots, political unrest, bandhs, helicopter unavailability or bad weather conditions, accidents or any other natural or man-made misfortunes, the program will need to be changed or extended. The additional expenditure for the same will have to be borne by the passengers directly.
